The winners of the Sarthe Endurance Photos contest have been announced

The happy winners of the 6th edition of the Sarthe Endurance Photos contest have been revealed. This contest - in partnership with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, The French Sports journalists union, "Auto Hebdo," "Le Maine Libre" and the 24 Heures/Circuit de la Sarthe Museum - is open to two categories of photographers: amateurs and professionals.

The goal of the contest is to highlight the various goings-on and unique happenings that take place during the 24 Hours of Le Mans and also during the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) rounds. All in all, many photographers, from about 10 different countries, participated.

Of around 1,000 shots, 25 won awards. The selection was difficult given the quality of the photos and the jury had to come to agreements. Among some of its most famous members were Henri Pescarolo, Jury president and four-time winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans; Fabrice Bourrigaud, Director of the ACO's Spirit of Le Mans hub; Bastien Brière and Vincent Capillaire representing the drivers; Philippe Séclier, editor-in-chief of Auto Hebdo; and Jean Claude Virfeu, national vice-president of the French Sports journalists union.
