The death of Anthoine Hubert is a great loss

The Automobile Club de l'Ouest is deeply saddened by the death of 22-year-old French driver Anthoine Hubert.

President of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, Pierre Fillon: "It is with profound grief we have learned of the brutal death of Anthoine Hubert. A young and talented driver, who showed outstanding promise in single-seaters, Anthoine started out in karting like many others, with a passion he carried into his efforts in car racing. In 2016, he won the 24 Hours of Karting at Le Mans, demonstrating both his athleticism and poise. On behalf of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, I offer my sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones in this painful time."
