Release of the book retracing Porsche's win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The book, "Porsche Victory 2015," is for people who wish to relive Porsche's 17th victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but also to understand the technical characteristics of the 919 Hybrid with which Nico H

Edited by Gruppe C and designed by René de Boer, motorsports journalist, and Tim Upietz, the son of Ulrich Upietz, photographer of the annual Porsche Motorsport book, "Porsche Victory 2015" retraces the history of the German manufacturer's official return in the head class after a two-decade absence.

With as an objective the win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in three years, Porsche exceeded its goals by winning at the 83rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans during the second year, beating its own win record at Le Mans.

Its arrival in LM P1 did not however end Porsche's presence in the two GT classes, under the official banner in LM GTE Pro, and via the intermediary of private teams (including that of Patrick Dempsey who claimed the second step on the podium in his class at Le Mans) in LM GTE Am.

At less than two months from Christmas, aficionados of the German marque can add the book "Porsche Victory 2015" - in French, English and German versions - to their wish lists!

Available since October 30th, the book can be ordered on the Gruppe C website (in German) for 40 euros.
