PURFLUX GROUP joins MissionH24

MissionH24, a zero-CO2 emissions racing program and collaboration between the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and H24 Project, brings together a team of technical and financial partners determined to take on this pioneering challenge. PURFLUX GROUP is joining this mission.

At Hyvolution, in Paris, Porte de Versailles, on January 27, 2026, MissionH24 and PURFLUX GROUP formalized their collaboration during a press conference held at the stand hosting the H24EVO, the latest prototype from the zero-CO2-emission racing program.

MissionH24, a collaborative program between the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and H24 Project, promotes the development of hydrogen in automotive racing, with the goal of creating a category dedicated to hydrogen prototypes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the FIA World Endurance Championship by 2028.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans has always played a role in accelerating research into mobility. At a time when energy transition and the deployment of new sustainable solutions are essential, endurance racing is stepping up to the task.

A global expert in filtration and motor flow management for over 70 years, PURFLUX GROUP has established itself as a leading player in performance and innovation. With an international presence comprising 10 factories, 3 research and development centers, and 3,700 employees, the Group works closely with car, truck, motorcycle, and industrial manufacturers to develop customized filtration solutions for combustion, electric, and hydrogen engines. Driven by a strong conviction — no endurance without performance — PURFLUX GROUP and MissionH24 share the same passion for technological innovation at the highest level. This shared vision has naturally led to close cooperation around hydrogen, based on a structured and ambitious product roadmap, incorporating key solutions such as cathode air filters, deionizers, and water separators.

As part of this partnership, PURFLUX GROUP is proud to design and develop an air and gas filtration system dedicated to the H24EVO at its industrial site and R&D center in Vire, Normandy, France. This device supplies both compressors while helping to cool the fuel cell, thanks to a filter element incorporating activated carbon media offering first-class filtration performance.

A real technological challenge, this project draws on the expertise and commitment of the PURFLUX GROUP teams to meet demanding specifications specific to the constraints of motor racing, confirming the Group's ability to push the boundaries of performance in the service of more sustainable mobility.

Pierre FILLON, President of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and Co-President of MissionH24: “Welcome PURFLUX to MissionH24. Our close-knit team is fully committed to decarbonizing motor racing and mobility. Together with all our partners, we are determined to meet this crucial challenge.”

Jean-Michel BOURESCHE, CEO of H24 Project and Co-President of MissionH24: "I am very pleased to welcome PURFLUX, one of the world leaders in filtration systems for the automotive industry, to MissionH24. This expertise will be a major asset in achieving the level of performance and reliability that MissionH24 aims to demonstrate with the H24EVO."

Julien GRANGE, CEO of PURFLUX GROUP: "We are particularly proud to be part of this cutting-edge project alongside MissionH24. It fully embodies the DNA of PURFLUX GROUP: pushing the limits of performance through innovation, while actively contributing to the emergence of new sustainable forms of mobility. Being able to design and develop such a demanding technological solution for hydrogen-powered motorsports in France, at our site in Vire, is a tremendous recognition of the expertise and commitment of our teams."
