New collections 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest will take advantage of the 84th Le Mans 24 Hours to present its new collections to the spectators in the official boutiques in Tours, Paris and Le Mans, its on-line boutique, the regional agencies, and in the temporary boutiques spread around the circuit during the Test Day and the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Fans of the greatest endurance race in the world will be able to buy a host of souvenirs thanks to the complete range of exclusive clothes, bags/luggage and accessories designed specially for the official Le Mans 24-Hours boutiques.

Spectators will discover this year’s latest items which include the classic and sports sunglasses designed by Serengeti with a collection devoted to the Le Mans 24 Hours, as well as the explanatory, clearly-written, instructive book, Les 24 Heures pour les Nuls (The Le Mans 24 Hours for Dummies) published in April.
And don’t forget the “essentials:” the travel bags/luggage from Jack Russell Malletier and the T-shirt with the 2016 poster to complete your collection.

Four lines of clothes for men, women and children have been designed and renewed for the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Collection Le Mans: for the history, the status and the brand. Thanks to it fans can relive the most glorious moments of the event through vintage collections reworked to meet current tastes.

Collection Racing: for technique and comfort. Clothes and accessories which recall the ambience in the pits.

Collection Event: the memory of the race. A unique universe, both modern and original. Wear them all year round to show your passion for competition and endurance.

Collection 24 Heures du Mans by Alain Figaret: a line of sporting, elegant ready-to-wear clothing that transports you into the legend.

Fans will also find a wide-ranging offer of accessories, luggage, books, scale models, old posters and reproductions.

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest big-hearted 24h partner

For the last seven years, Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque (MCC) has been the partner Association of the Le Mans 24 Hours thanks to the support of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO). Thirty-five children suffering from heart malformations have already been saved with the help of numerous charity donations and communications operations organised at the event.

In 2016, the Association is again organising several major operations to save the maximum number of children. The first one runs through May and June as the Carrefour and Carrefour markets in the Sarthe are selling small items for the benefit of the Association. Then the Panis-Barthez Competition team is lending its support to Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque and will carry its colours in the Sarthe classic. Fabien Barthez, Paul-Loup Chatin, Thimoté Buret and their team manager, Olivier Panis, will be the ambassadors of the Association throughout the Le Mans 24-Hours week.

During the event in partnership with the ACO, caps du Coeur will be sold in the official Le Mans 24-Hours boutiques at a price of 22 euros, 30% of which will be paid to MCC. A badge will also be on sale to the public at 2 euros to show one’s support (100% paid to the Association).
The scheme “Pedal to save lives” has been renewed. Six ‘Look’ bicycles will be at the public’s disposal. For each kilometre covered 2 euros will be paid to the Association by Carrefour and Carrefour Market.
