For 9 days, the festival unfurls an immense open-air theatre on 8 hectares of lawns, where kites of all shapes and sizes dance in the wind.

The 2025 programme will include :

• Morning flights of ‘giant bowls’ and afternoon flights with commentary, adapted to the weather.

• A village divided into 5 sections (exhibitions, children, history, creativity, aero-photography)

• Festive parade on the first weekend, showcasing costumes and traditions

• Night flight with sound and light, to close the event in a magical atmosphere

• Participatory workshops: kite-building, introductory courses for children and schoolchildren, collective creation, etc.

• Cultural activities: creative competition on the theme of ‘shapes and colours’, exhibitions, circus and aerial performances, etc.

An intercultural event, it brings together delegations from around 40 countries, encouraging dialogue and exchange around this aerial art form.

Free of charge, the festival is ranked among the 300 biggest events in the world.
