In LM P1:

-The times begin to "fall" in the last three minutes of qualifying.

-Toyota driver Kamui Kobayashi clocked the second fastest time, which allowed the #6 TS050 to reach third position on the grid in the time averages with only four minutes remaining. The Japanese manufacturer will start from fourth and sixth positions, with the #6 and the #5, respectively.

-The #7 Audi fourth lap was voided for excessive fuel consumption, which allowed the second car (#8) to snatch the provisional pole.

-Then Marcel Fässler took the lead with a time of 1:45:798, with 11 onze minutes remaining.

-The #1 and #2 Porsche 919 Hybrids qualified third and fifth respectively.

- Audi monopolized the first row. André Lotterer and Marcel Fässler (#7 Audi R18) scored pole position in 1:45:842. In comparison, pole position at the 2015 6 Hours of the Circuit of The Americas was in 1:46:211.

-Rebellion clocked the fastest time of the Private LM P1 Teams, in 1:53:646.

En LM P2: 

-Early in qualifying, Roberto Merhi clocked the first point of reference time in LM P2 in 1:56:195, at the wheel of Manor's Oreca 05-Nissan.

-Then Bruno Senna emerged the fastest in the class in 1:55:754 at 10 minutes from the checkered flag, before Signatech Alpine grabbed its first pole position of 2016.

-Alex Brundle (G-Drive Racing's #26 Oreca 05-Nissan) is the first driver to run into trouble. He had an incident at turn 9 first, then had the same problem during his next two laps!

-Nicolas Lapierre and Gustavo Menezes (Alpine A460) were the fastest in LM P2, with an averae of 1:55:892.

En LM GTE:

-The LM GTE Pro pole position went to Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen (Aston Martin Racing), with an average of 2:04:610.

-Another Aston Martin clocked the best time in LM GTE Am, thanks to Pedro Lamy and Paul Dalla Lana in 2:07:683.

-Thanks to a great final push, Nicki Thiim scored the pole in the class in the last minute of qualifying.

-Two minutes from the end, Paul Dalla Lana had an incident, just like Harry Tincknell (Ford GT). They both had their last times voided.

-The #86 Porsche of Michael Wainwright (LM GTE Am) spun out five minutes from the checkered flag.

-With six minutes remaining, James Calado and Sam Bird took off at the wheel of AF Corse's two Ferrari 488 GTEs, with the best two times.

-Seven minutes from the end, Ricky Taylor in Larbre Compétition's Corvette proved fastest in the LM GTE Am class in 2:06:986.

-The first laps completed by the Ford GTs gave the third position to the #66 and fifth to the #67.

-Provisional one-two for Ferrari after 10 minutes, when Gimmi Bruni took the lead, ahead of the other 488 GTE driven by Davide Rigon by 0:24 seconds.

-Rigon qualified fastest in 2:04:549, after eight minutes of qualifying.

-Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen scored their third consecutive pole position in the #95 Aston Martin. 

The start of the race will be given at 11:00 p.m. in the U.K..
