Allan McNish was one of the leading figures at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for more than two decades. The three-time winner (1998, 2008 and 2013) talks about some of his most cherished Le Mans memories.

Allan McNish’s racing career is intimately linked with the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Scot first came to the city in 1985, when he competed in the karting world championship. By the time he registered his third 24 Hours win in 2013, he had made a lasting impression on the legendary race. Teaming up with illustrious co-drivers, such as Tom Kristensen, Rinaldo Capello and Loïc Duval, McNish made a vital contribution to Audi’s successful spell after the turn of the century. On retirement, he had forged one of the finest track records in endurance history with 29 wins around the world. We asked him about his most striking memories of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
