The first qualifying session of the 2018-2019 World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) Super Season had been quite the anticipated event. The stakes were high and the drivers fought it out for tenths of seconds. The #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid (LMP1) scored pole position as the Alpine A470-Gibson made its mark in the LMP2 class. In LMGTE Pro, Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK will start from the pole, and in the LMGTE Am class Dempsey-Proton Racing's two Porsche 911 RSRs took the number 1 and number 2 spots.
