Tom Kristensen takes the wheel of the Matra winner of the 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans

It was filming a program for the Eurosport channel that nine-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen took command of the legendary Matra MS670B winner of the 1974 edition driven by Gérard Larrousse and Henri Pescarolo.

Yesterday, the inimitable sound of the Matra V12 surely brought back memories for those who were present back in 1974 when Tom Kristensen, Grand Marshal of the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans, started the engine of the Matra decorated in the colors of a cigarette manufacturer. Check out Eurosport soon to check out the action!

If you're a bit jealous of Tom Kristensen, and his record nine wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1997 and 2014 (the year he retired from competition), you can see the Matra up-close and in person at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum located at the circuit.
