Today's Photo Story - The Bentley Speed 8 wins the 2003 24 Hours of Le Mans

On January 10, 1863, the London Underground opened, making it the oldest in the world. On June 15, 2003, the Bentley Speed 8, on display at the London Classic Car Show in 2015, won at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Like five other cars (Porsche 962, Jaguar XJR-9, McLaren F1 GTR, Ferrari 512 and Ford GT40) that have made their marks at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Bentley Speed 8 was shown at the annual vintage car show in London in 2015. This year, another legendary name from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Jacky Ickx, will be paid tribute in the British capitol: the six-time winner at the 24 Hours will be presented the Icon Award at the gala dinner on February 23rd.
