This is the car that almost won the 2017 24 Hours of Le Mans (video)

Just a few hours from the checkered flag on Sunday, June 18th of this year, the #38 ORECA 07-Gibson driven by Oliver Jarvis, Ho-Pin Tung and Frenchman Thomas Laurent was still in the lead at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In the end, the #2 Porsche 919 Hybrid of Timo Bernhard, Earl Bamber and Brendon Hartley snatched the trophy, but the car entered by Jackie Chan DC Racing certainly made its mark.

Jackie Chan DC Racing entered two ORECA 07-Gibsons at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as it did for the rest of the World Endurance Championship (WEC). At the wheel of the #37 were Alex Brundle, David Cheng and Tristan Gommendy, finishing third overall and second in LMP2. The #38 that almost pulled off a stunning upset was driven by Oliver Jarvis, Ho-Pin Tung and Thomas Laurent, reaching the second step on the overall podium and winning the LMP2 class.

In this video, check out Alex Brundle, driver of the #37, who describes and shows the undercarriage of this beautiful car. Both cars were in attendance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (Great Britain) one week after the 24 Hours of Le Mans...
