With the 58th Rolex 24 at Daytona now underway, here are a few key stats on the first race of the 2020 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

38 - The number of cars entered in the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona, representing 12 different constructors: Cadillac, Acura, Mazda, ORECA, Corvette, BMW, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Lexus and Mercedes. 

4 - Classes: DPi (Daytona Prototype international) with eight cars, LMP2 with five, GT Le Mans with seven and GT Daytona with 18.

42 - The number of drivers with at least one participation in this race on the track this weekend.

37 - The racing number of Rolex 24 at Daytona rookie and 2019 NASCAR champion Kyle Busch's Lexus RCF GT3 in the GTD class.  

2 - The racing number of Team Penske's Acura shared by 2019 Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud, Dave Cameron and Juan Pablo Montoya, defending 2019 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship champions. The driver line-up started on the first row next to pole-sitters Jarvis-Nunez-Pla in Team Joest's #77 Mazda.  

26 - Le Mans winners (overall and class) competing this weekend at Daytona, including Loïc Duval, Nick Tandy, Earl Bamber and Marcel Fässler. 

1 - All-female driver line-up taking the start at the wheel of the #19 GEAR Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3: Christina Nielsen, Katherine Legge, Tati Calderon and Rahel Frey.

1 - Grand Marshal: three-time Daytona winner Christian Fittipaldi who has done the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times. 

1 - The first race for the new Corvette C8-R. This is the first time since Corvette Racing's first appearance at Daytona in 1999 that it is fielding a central engine car. Two CR.8s, the #3 and #4, are hitting the track for the first time in competition.
