Save the date for the next 24 Heures Motos: 18-19 April 2020!

The date of the 43rd running of the 24 Heures Motos has been announced! Le Mans’ Bugatti Circuit will host the motorcycle endurance classic on 18–19 April 2020. The event will be the third race on the FIM EWC 2019-20 Endurance World Championship calendar. Race tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 8 October 2019. The Pre-Le Mans are scheduled for 31 March and 1 April.

The 24 Heures Motos, held for the first time in 1978, is THE big race that all motorcycle manufacturers and riders dream of winning. The race is run on the 4.185-km-long Bugatti Circuit and is open to the fastest superbikes built by the world’s best-known motorcycle manufacturers. Talented riders from an array of backgrounds team up in their bid for victory in the iconic twice-round-the-clock race, and spectators are treated to some nail-biting track action. Take, for example, this year’s magnificent clash between Kawasaki and Honda, with just a minute separating them as they passed the chequered flag.

The 24 Heures Motos, to be held on 18-19 April 2020, is one of the highlights of the FIM EWC Endurance World Championship, which also includes the Bol d’Or and the 8 Hours of Suzuka. Last April, 76,000 spectators flocked to the track to watch Team SRC Kawasaki France serve Kawasaki with its 14th victory. The Japanese manufacturer is thus the most successful in the race’s history, ahead of Honda (12 wins), Suzuki (12 wins) and Yamaha (4 wins). Sixty “official” and “amateur” teams competed in 2019.

The 24 Heures Motos is not only a fantastic race, but also a festive event away from the track, drawing big crowds in a celebration of motorcycling culture. Organised by the ACO, the trackside entertainment includes a fan zone, concerts, pop-up stores, a funfair and exhibitions.

Tickets will go on sale for the 2020 24H Motos on Tuesday 8 October 2019 and, as usual, there will be some special early-bird prices.
