New livery for TDS Racing’s Oreca LMP2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

TDS Racing is about to embark on its second World Endurance Championship season. After a year-long learning curve following a bright start with an LMP2 podium at the 6 Hours of Silverstone, the French team is back with the #28 Oreca 07-Gibson for the FIA WEC 2018-19 Super Season.

After clinching the 2012 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) title and finishing runner-up in the LMP2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 and 2014, TDS Racing moved up to the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2017. The outfit ended its inaugural season in eighth place in the Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Teams standings. For the 2018-19 Super Season, the team will be fielding the same car – the #28 Oreca 07-Gibson – but with a new livery.

A change has been made to the driver line-up too as Loïc Duval, 2013 World Endurance Champion and Le Mans winner with Audi, will replace Emmanuel Collard alongside François Perrodo and Matthieu Vaxivière. The three men were recently seen testing at the MotorLand Aragón circuit in Spain.

TDS Racing has decided to add three ELMS rounds to its 2018 campaign, including the opener at the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet on 15 April. It will also provide technical support to G-Drive Racing, fielding an Oreca 07-Gibson in ELMS.

With the 24 Hours of Le Mans (16-17 June) on the horizon, the Montpellier-based outfit has a busy season ahead!
