MissionH24 - The launch at Spa-Francorchamps (video)

The fifth round of the European Le Mans Series at Spa-Francorchamps served as the launching pad for MissionH24, a program created by the ACO in collaboration with GreenGT. The goal of the project is for hydrogen racing cars to take the start at the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The global launch of MissionH24, a program created by the ACO in collaboration with GreenGT, took place at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend. In Belgium, spectators as well as the media were invited to watch a hydrogen racing car do laps and refuel in pit lane. In an effort to promote the use of hydrogen, the ACO hoped to demonstrate at MissionH24's international debut that the technology is safe, simple and promising. Keep in mind the car on the track (the GreenGT LMPH2G) is still in its experimental phase and has not yet begun development.

Check out at the hydrogen car in action on the track in this video!
