The LMGTE Pro class - in which most if not all drivers are factory drivers - is typically one of the first to confirm its line-ups, and this year is no exception. Only the Corvette Racing team has yet to reveal both its third drivers.
A few new points of interest in the class: BMW's big return, with two M8 GTEs fielded by the MTEK team, and the new Aston Martin Vantage, the class winner last year. Also, three outfits have opted to increased their chances of winning by entering more than two cars: three for Ferrari and four for Ford and Porsche (driven by no less than four former overall winners: Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas, Earl Bamber and Nick Tandy).
