Le Mans - HSH Princess Charlène of Monaco stands up for road safety

Starter of this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours on 15-16 June, Charlene, Princess of Monaco has stepped up to promote road safety around the world, as member of the FIA campaign #3500LIVES.

The huge campaign poster covers the whole of one side of the pit building at Le Mans, announcing the FIA’s commitment to the cause to all present at the race. Two representatives of the Monaco principality, the princess and Formula One driver Charles Leclerc, are relaying an important message for motorists to watch out for pedestrians.

Charlene, Princess of Monaco will be able to deliver the message in person when she officiates as starter of the 87th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 15 June at 15:00. The 62 competitors will then race around the clock, day and night in what is always a tremendous event.
