In Birmingham at Autosport International, Tobin "LZR Racerz" Leigh earned his invitation to the super finale set to take place in June in Le Mans (he will join forces with Kamikaze110 and F4hrevz who qualified in the Asia and America zones respectively). At just 18 years old, he already has quite a track record. "i had my first taste of competitive racing games at age 14 by taking part in a league on the F1 games. I then transferred over to Forza, the title I compete on now, a year later when I was 15. I always did it for enjoyment though, it was only when I was 16 that I took part in a 'proper' esports competition for the first time, namely the Forza Racing Championship."

He has a long history as a diehard motorsport fan. "Exactly. I have in-fact grown up with cars all throughout my life, I've always been aware of all the different motorsport categories ever since I was a small child. My interest in racing games actually came as a result of my interest in the real-life sport."

In the Le Mans Esports Series, Tobin Leigh knows he's taking on the greatest endurance race in the world, and he knows the circuit like the back of his hand. "I used to play older racing titles many, many years ago and I can definitely remember really enjoying the track even back then. The first time I really got to understand the flow of the circuit though was when I started pushing the boundaries when I got involved in esports. It's definitely one of my favorite tracks on any racing game, especially the Porsche curves!"

In 2017, Tobin Leigh headed to Le Mans to compete in the finale of the Forza RC championship. It was his first competition ever in public. "Yes, I came to Le Mans in 2017 for the ForzaRC. It was my first ever live event in esports that I took part in and so it holds a special place in my heart. The atmosphere was surreal, the track was awesome and was surprisingly similar to the version of the track that I race in-game. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to go back to Le Mans, as it was a trip I will never forget two years ago."

So for the upcoming Le Mans Esports Series finale, Tobin Leigh knows the circuit, has a solid relationship with his sponsors and can simply focus on preparing for the race! "I can't wait for the Super Final at Le Mans, especially seeing as I didn't even realize I would be competing in the competition at all until just a few days before the Autosport qualifier in Birmingham! I managed to qualify through the on-site public qualifications and then race through the field of online competitors to claim the golden ticket to the Super Finale, one of my finest drives in my sim-racing career."
