In Hall 1, the virtual competition will allow three gamers to win an invitation to the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans and 12 of the top professional teams will do battle.

ONE ESPORTS TEAM WILL EARN AN INVITATION TO LE MANS

On Saturday at 13:00 local time, on the big Esports stage at the event, 12 professional teams will compete and the winner will earn a spot at the Super Finale during this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The gamers will drive the iconic Ford GT40 Mk II Le Mans with which the American marque won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966. The race pays tribute to the film "Le Mans 66" ("Ford v Ferrari") currently in theaters, and requires great skill by the drivers as the Ford is known to be a challenging car. The gamers will take on the great 24 Hours circuit without the chicanes in a two-hour race.

Which team will triumph? Defending champion Veloce Esports is a serious contender as are Williams Esports, recently formed Team Fordzilla (the official Ford team), Jean Alesi Esports Academy and JOTA Esports, as well as regular online qualifiers Lazarus Racing and Light Speed Esports.

The Forza Motorsport 7 competition is not limited to professionals. They will provide the show on the event's great stage and show off their talent handling the Ford GT40, but at the same time all spectators are also invited to try their hand.

Four full Playseat simulators equipped with Thrustmaster (identical to those used by professionals) will be available to all. Give it a try and clock the fastest time you can! Three spots in the Super Finale during the 24 Hours of Le Mans are up for grabs.
