Dynamic, smiling under pressure, Zoe Copas is busy in the Group C paddock. Organization, logistics, briefings: she takes care of everything. "Ever since I was little, I've loved speed and cars." That is how Zoe Copas has found herself at the heart of motorsports. She is no delicate flower. It surprises that she studied art and was looking to become a graphic artist. "I don't know why, given that motorsports was already my passion and I dreamed of working at Silverstone," she answers with a laugh.

Working at Silverstone is what she does actually. She started as an organizing assistant before pursuing her career with Honda Racing F1, Jaguar GT3 Project and HSCC. A journey that in 2009 directed her toward Group C Racing, the club of private outfit owners of these prototypes from 1982–1993 which returned to competition in 2004. What's it all about exactly? "Up until this year, I took part in races at various circuits and took care of all the organizing. Now, the partnership with Peter Auto allows me to dedicate myself to the members of the club." Indeed, the Group Cs now do six races a year in Europe from April to October, along with Peter Auto events. The Le Mans Classic is one of the major ones on the program."But not all of the drivers are aware of the difficulty of the circuit. With the speeds – 300 km/h in the straight – the vibrations affect the cars and there are quite a few breakdowns."

But not too many nonetheless since a Group C car which, early in its career had been driven by a well-known driver, recently sold for two million four!
