The #37 and #38 Oreca 07s both boast Chinese-inspired liveries which set them apart in the LMP2 field and two solid driver line-ups capable of claiming a podium finish. With the #38 in the U.K. on April 16th, Oliver Jarvis, Ho-Pin Tung and young driver Thomas Laurent reached the top step on the podium no less! All they need now is a name, at least for the #37 to be driven by Tristan Gommendy, David Cheng and Alex Brundle.
To that end, Jota Sport, in charge of the car's development (running the car like Joest Racing did for Audi for example), has launched a contest on its Twitter feed. You can post name suggestions using #NameThe37.
Before the third round of the season, the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 17th and 18th, the two Orecas will compete in the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps on May 6th.
