FIA WEC – Don't miss a minute of the 4 Hours of Silverstone!

Season 8 of the FIA World Endurance Championship gets underway this weekend with the 4 Hours of Silverstone. The race starts at 12:00 BST on Sunday 1 September.

Thirty-one cars will line up at Silverstone for the opening round of the 2019-20 FIA WEC season (six in LMP1, eight in LMP2, six in LMGTE Pro and 11 in LMGTE Am). Depending on where you live, you will be able to follow the race on TV, on the web or via the World Endurance Championship app.

Various broadcasters, including Eurosport, Motorsport.tv, Motortrend and Fox Sports will beam the 4 Hours of Silverstone to homes around the world.  Check the guide on the FIA WEC website.

Web

The Motorsport.tv website will broadcast live coverage of Saturday’s qualifiers (from 10:50 to 11:40 BST) and the whole of Sunday’s race.

FIA WEC App

If you’re on the move, keep an eye on the race with the FIA WEC app (free to download from the App Store or Google Play). There is a charge for the live streaming service. English commentary will be provided by endurance specialist Martin Haven and three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner and 2013 World Endurance Champion Allan McNish, with additional input from Graham Goodwin and Louise Beckett.
