Despite high temps and several interventions by the safety car, nothing derailed the United Autosports team's quest for victory. Albuquerque-Hanson driving the #22 ORECA 07-Gibson won with nearly a one-second lead. The final minutes of the round were particularly competitive in the overall race between Graff, Panis Racing and Duqueine Team (listed in order of finish).
United Autosports' #2 Ligier JSP320-Nissan also won the LMP3 class, and Kessel Racing's #74 Ferrari reached the top step on the LMGTE podium.
