ELMS – First all-female driver line-up ready to race!

The European Le Mans Series has confirmed a full-season entry from an all-female line-up for 2019. Kessel Racing will run a Ferrari F488 GT3 driven by Manuela Gostner, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting in the LMGTE class.

For the first time in its history, the European Le Mans Series will welcome an all-female driver line-up in 2019. Manuela Gostner (Italy), Rahel Frey (Switzerland) and Michelle Gatting (Denmark) will take the wheel of a Ferrari F488 GT3, fielded by Swiss outfit Kessel Racing, starting at the 4 Hours of Le Castellet on 14 April.

The trio has already competed in Kessel Racing colours at the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi, finishing sixth overall and second in the GT3 Pro/Am category. Their aim now is to challenge for the top step of the podium in the ELMS LMGTE class. They also hope to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 15-16 June 2019.

The full entry list for the 87th 24 Hours of Le Mans – the Super Finale of the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season – will be revealed on Friday 1 March.
