ELMS – Alex Brundle and Ryan Cullen join United Autosports for the 2019 season

United Autosports has confirmed that Alex Brundle and Ryan Cullen will line up in the LMP2 crew for the 2019 European Le Mans Series.

Anglo-American outfit United Autosports has confirmed its involvement in the European Le Mans Series for the 2019 season by entering a second Ligier JS P217 in the LMP2 class. The team will be hoping to return to winning ways after successive LMP3 titles in 2016 and 2017. To complete the driver line-up, British racer Alex Brundle (2016 ELMS LMP3 champion) and Irishman Ryan Cullen (LMP2 winner at the 24 Hours of Daytona with the Oreca 07 fielded by DragonSpeed) will share the wheel of the #32 Ligier JS P217-Gibson.

Last month, United Autosports announced its commitment to the FIA World Endurance Championship for the 2019-20 season. It also currently tops the standings in the Asian Le Mans Series with its Ligier JS P2. The 4 Hours of Sepang will bring the curtain down on this season’s Asian championship on 24 February.
