Thirty-nine cars are entered in the 2019 European Le Mans Series season finale at the Portimão circuit in Portugal this weekend. The United Autosports team's #22 driver line-up, Albuquerque-Hanson, will start from pole position tomorrow at 12:30 local time at the 4 Hours of Portimão. In play are the titles in the LMP2 and LMP3 classes.
In LMP3, pole position and the accompanying point went to M Racing's #19 Norma M30. The #11 Eurointernational and #13 Inter Europol Competition driver line-ups hold the same number of points, 94, and will battle it out for the title tomorrow.
In LMGTE, Dempsey-Proton Racing's #77 Porsche clocked the fastest time in qualifying. Luzich Racing's #51 Ferrari has already won the title since the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Second place will be one to watch as it guarantees an invitation to the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans on 13-14 June.
