Former Formula 1 drivers gearing up to take on the 92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans
The entry list of 186 drivers destined for the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans (12-16 June) has been announced, including several Formula 1 alumni.

The provisional entry list for the Asian Le Mans Series has been published ten days ahead of the 2021 season curtain-raiser in Dubai. Thirty-six cars are set to line up on the grid.
Two former Formula One drivers will be appearing in LMP2, the top class in the series: Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne will line up for JOTA while Narain Karthikeyan will take the wheel of the #64 Oreca 07-Gibson entered by Racing Team India. Endurance specialists Nicki Thiim, Simon Trummer and René Binder will also be competing. The LMP3 class promises a great battle between seasoned drivers, including former championship winners, talented amateurs and young rookies just embarking on a motorsport career.
Six major manufacturers will be represented in the GT class: Mercedes, McLaren, Ferrari, BMW, Porsche and Aston Martin. The presence of works drivers in the field offers a sure-fire guarantee of some exciting racing.
The Asian Le Mans Series grid will have a truly international flavour with teams from 15 countries and drivers of 26 different nationalities.
