A special livery in tribute to Michel Vaillant for Rebellion's Orecas at Le Mans

For the first two rounds of the 2017 World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) season, the Rebellion Racing team's two Oreca 07-Gibsons, renamed Vaillante Rebellion for the 24 Hours, will sport the current livery, but will be decorated in the colors of comic book hero Michel Vaillant at Le Mans.

It will be at the press presentation for the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps on April 27th in Brussels, Belgium that the livery of the two Oreca 07s (#13 and #31) for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the rest of the season will be unveiled.

After several successful years as a private team in the LM P1 class, Rebellion Racing is returning to LM P2 this year with two cars, one for Mathias Beche-Nelson Piquet, Jr.-David Heinemeier Hansson, winners in LM GTE Am with Aston Martin at the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans and second in LM P2 in 2013, the other for Nicolas Prost-Bruno Senna-Julien Canal, who has three class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a best LM P2 driver trophy in the 2015 World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC).
