6 Hours of Fuji – TOYOTA GAZOO Racing in pole position at home

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing has claimed both spots on the first row of the starting grid at tomorrow's 6 Hours of Fuji, the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

With Toyota Motor Corporation President Akio Toyoda looking on, the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing team clinched the pole at tomorrow's 6 Hours of Fuji and will dominate the first row on the starting grid. The #8 scored the top spot in 1:25.013 and the #7 follows trailing by 0.790. It was an exciting session for the #7 with an outstanding Kobayashi fighting traffic during his timed laps.

In the LMP2 class, the fastest time was clocked by Jackie Chan DC Racing thanks to Gabriel Aubry and Ho-Pin Tung.

In LMGTE Pro, the #91 Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Lietz-Bruni snagged its first pole position and in LMGTE Am, the top time went to TF Sport's Aston Martin Vantage Sport.

The start at the 6 Hours of Fuji will be given tomorrow at 11:00 local time.
