It’s the big day at last! This year’s race doubles up as the Super Final of the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship. H.S.H Princess Charlene of Monaco will wave the flag to unleash the 61 cars on the starting grid at 15:00. Franz Ferdinand and Dissident (support act) will take to the Le Mans 24 Hours stage with a concert starting at 20:00.
From 09:00 on Saturday through to 04:00 on Sunday morning, take some time out and soak up the atmosphere in the fully interactive fan zone. Get an analysis of the race action, and enjoy the free hi-tech entertainment and activities. Food and drinks on sale. Special kids area: guaranteed fun for all!
From 09:00 to 09:45, the cars and drivers have one last chance to run through their preparations. Warm-up is the ideal opportunity to make some last minutes tweaks and adjust to the day’s weather conditions.
10:15-11:00 - competitors in the Ferrari Challenge Europe take to the track for a 45-minute race. This championship is for amateur drivers and is played out with the Ferrari 488 Challenge, the Italian GT with a V8 3.9-litre turbo engine packing 670 hp!
11:30-12:25 - The second race for competitors in Road to Le Mans. This 24 Hours of Le Mans support race is the third round of the 2019 Michelin Le Mans Cup. The competition is reserved for cars that comply with the FIA GT3 regulations and LMP3 cars that comply with the ACO LMP3 technical rulebook.
The most exciting 24 hours of the year begin today. The start of the 87th annual 24 Hours of Le Mans is at 15:00.
The trackside concerts at Le Mans are always very popular. Franz Ferdinand and Dissident will take to Le Mans 24 Hours stage near the Dunlop Bridge with a concert starting at 20:00.
