24 Hours of Le Mans - Vincent Capillaire with French team Graff (ORECA) and SO24

Vincent Capillaire is the first driver with the Graff team to be confirmed to participate in the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans. Still with the support of Sarthe Objectif 24, the Le Mans native will take the wheel of an ORECA 07-Gibson in the LMP2 class if the French team receives an invitation from the Selection Committee.

If the Selection Committee does extend Graff an invitation, the team will most likely be called Graff-SO24. Next year's edition will be Vincent Capillaire's fifth 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2017, he participated in the race as a member of the Portuguese team Algarve Pro Racing (#45 Ligier JS P217-Gibson), already representing SO24 and finishing in 15th place in the LMP2 class.

This year saw the Graff Racing team's return to Le Mans, 24 years after its last appearance at the 24 Hours. With two cars on the starting grid, the outfit led by Pascal Rauturier finished fifth in the LMP2 class with the trio James Allen-Franck Matélli-Richard Bradley (#40 ORECA 07-Gibson) at the wheel. Graff also won two European Le Mans Series rounds this season (Spa and Portimão) and scored pole position at Monza.

Vincent Capillaire: "I am truly thrilled to represent SO24 with Graff. A big thank you for the confidence they have shown me. We share the same competitive goals. I can't wait to get started, to fight alongside one of the greatest French teams ever and carry the SO24 banner high at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans."
