24 Hours of Le Mans Test Day – Round-up of the third hour

With the second and fourth-fastest times, the Rebellion R13-Gibsons are breathing down the necks of the Toyota TS050 Hybrids, settled in first and third places.

Led by Thomas Laurent, on form this morning, the #3 Rebellion R13-Gibson threatened Toyota’s supremacy for a good part of the third hour, trailing the #8 TS050 Hybrid by less than 0.4 seconds. There were no significant changes in the standings behind the leading two; the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid and #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson recording the third and fourth times. Jenson Button took the wheel of the #11 BR Engineering BR1-AER of SMP Racing and subsequently clocked the sixth-fastest lap in class.

Status quo in LMP2 with the two Oreca 07-Gibsons out in front. G-Drive Racing’s #26 car leads the way from the IDEC Sport #48 car. Ford monopolises the leading positions on the LMGTE Pro timesheets with four cars in the top four places.
