24 Hours of Le Mans – Getting to the practice sessions and race day

Now that Scrutineering has been ticked off the list, the 62 cars will hit the track on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th June for free practice and qualifying before lining up for the race itself, the 87th 24 Hours of Le Mans, on Saturday 15 June 2019. Here are some tips if you're thinking of heading to the circuit.

How to get to the Circuit des 24 Hours du Mans

Event traffic will be heavy, so we recommend using the Le Mans Métropole public transport network to get to the racetrack, in particular Tramway line 1 Université – Antares - MMArena - Circuit des 24 Heures. More information is available on the Setram website and on signage displayed at stations.

Where to park

If you would rather come by car anyway, Le Mans has almost 3,700 underground car park spaces (République, Jacobins and Quinconces car parks in particular) and 2,123 roadside pay & display spaces. Once you’ve parked up, hop on public transport to get to the racetrack.

For more details, click here here to visit the website of Cenovia Park, Le Mans’ car park operator.

If you want to park as close as possible to the racetrack, you can book a space at one of the car parks open to the public (Green, Red, Blue or Yellow). Click here for more about prices and how to book.

Car parks are signposted to help you find your spot easily.

To ensure that emergency vehicles can get through easily, please do not park in no parking areas, particularly near the racetrack.
