24 Hours of Le Mans – Free Practice and Qualifying Session 1 as it happened!

The 62 cars entered in the 87th 24 Hours of Le Mans, Super Finale of the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season, took to the track today for 4 hours of free practice and the first of three 2-hour qualifying sessions. While Kamui Kobayashi put the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid in provisional pole position, the non-hybrid prototypes didn't let the Japanese manufacturer have an easy time. Dragonspeed in LMP2, Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK (LMGTE Pro) and Dempsey Proton Racing (LMGTE Am) are the other provisional polesitters.
