24 Hours of Le Mans - Free Practice 1 is happening now!

Green flag for the 62-car field of the 24 Hours of Le Mans! The first free practice session lasts four hours and is followed by the first qualifying session (22:00-00:00).

The #11 SMP Racing BR Engineering BR1 - Vitaly Petrov at the wheel - was first out on track. This is the first time since Test Day on 2 June that the Circuit des 24 Heures has been open for business. The track is wet after heavy rain this morning and earlier this afternoon.

With a field of 62, this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans is already record-breaking. Eight cars are in the LMP1 class, 20 in LMP2, 17 each in LMGTE Pro and Am.
