The teams could take their marks on the Bugatti circuit and gauge their competitors’ performances with regards to the race. The countdown has well and truly started. Everybody will meet again in two weeks, on Thursday 19th April for the first official practices before the start of the 41st edition of the 24 Hours Motos on Saturday 21st April at 3 p.m.
 

41 teams profited from the "Pré-Mans" practices to review their preparation programme before taking part in the official practices of the 24 Hours Motos. An examination somewhat disrupted by weather conditions and several neutralisations but not enough to reconsider the participation of teams or riders in the race.
 
The Yart-Yamaha profited from a dry track on Wednesday to assert its ambitions of victory by setting the timing reference at 1'36''867. The BMW n°48 of the NRT48-BMW Motorrad team is beaten by 1.7 seconds. The BMW n°9 of Tecmas BMW completed the top three of the overall ranking.  The Yamaha n°94 of GMT94-Yamaha, winner of the previous edition of the 24 Hours Motos is very pleased with the performance and the adaptability of its Dunlop tyres.

In the Superstock category, the Suzuki n°72 of the Junior Team Le Mans Sud has won the best time in 1'39''723. It has got ahead of the Suzuki n°68 of the Atomic Motosport team and the Kawasaki n°4 of the Tati Team Beaujolais Racing.

Only one of the two motorcycles of the Experimental category participated in these "Pré-Mans" practices. It was the Kawasaki n°17 of the TTS Excent team. This motorcycle, equipped with a front-wheel suspension unit, has made the 13th best time in 1'44.876.

The "Pré-Mans" practices have come to an end and the 60 competitors entering the 24 Hours Motos will be back on the Bugatti circuit on Wednesday 18th April in order to submit to the scrutineering and administrative checking. The first official practices will be taking place on Thursday 20th April.
