2018 Test Day administrative checks and scrutineering schedule

For the 86th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, administrative and technical checks will be carried out during Test Day on Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Unlike at Scrutineering, the usual name of the administrative and technical checks for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the marshals do not set up shop in downtown Le Mans for Test Day, rather at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit itself. On the other hand, the checks take place over the course of a day and a half.

On Thursday, May 31st, the team that claimed the second and third steps on the podium in 2017, Jackie Chan DC Racing, will kick things off at 8:30 a.m. local time, and Aston Martin will close out the day at 3:30 p.m.

The second day will start off at 8:30 a.m. local time with two-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso and Toyota, closely followed by another F1 winner, Jenson Button, whose team SMP Racing is scheduled at 9:15 a.m. Though an LMGTE Pro team, as for the race, will bring to a close the administrative and technical checks at 12:15 p.m., it won't be Ford, but Porsche for Test Day.
