2018 24 Hours of Le Mans - Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 June: Qualifying

The 60 competitors will hit the track for three qualifying sessions, both during the day and at night, on Wednesday and Thursday. These will be the opportunity to carve out any advantage possible, namely clinching first positions on the starting grid.

Every team's goal during these sessions is, of course, to establish the best time in qualifying. Scoring the pole at Le Mans is crucial because, in addition to improving one's chances for the race, doing so automatically assures global media buzz!

The qualifying sessions are always the scene of the first exploits, but also the first scares as each driver pushes his car to the limits against the stopwatch, guaranteeing chills!

At night, the drivers have one major objective: to complete five laps of the circuit during at least one qualifying session, mandatory for every driver, even veteran drivers.

Wednesday, 13 June from 10:00 p.m. to midnight and Thursday, 14 June from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 10:00 p.m. to midnight at the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit.
