The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps was once again the setting for a great battle between Audi and Porsche, where each showed the highest level of mutual respect.
Mark Webber (No. 17 Porsche 919 Hybrid, 3rd): "Congratulations to the No. 7 Audi driver line-up. As for us, we hope to continue to have the opportunity to fight for victory."
André Lotterer (No. 7 Audi R18 e-tron quattro, winner): "It's no holds barred all the time and is very fun, especially at Spa-Francorchamps. It's for this type of race that we hit track."
Marc Lieb (No. 18 Porsche 919 Hybrid, 2nd): "It was a great battle, I did all I could to keep the Audi behind me. This is also what endurance is: big fights on the track, before shaking hands getting out of the car."
Benoît Tréluyer (No. 7 Audi R18 e-tron quattro, winner): "It was obviously very hard, one had to attack all the way all while preserving the tyres. Audi did fantastic work this winter with this version."
Romain Dumas (No, 18 Porsche 919 Hybrid, 2nd): "It was a great battle, like at Silverstone."
Timo Bernhard (No. 17 Porsche 919 Hybrid, 3rd): "This third place finish is a good result for the team. We would have liked to fight longer but we had a suspension problem. It shows a very high level in this world championship: the slightest problem costs immediately."
