WEC - A summary of the action at the 6 Hours of Nürburgring (video)

The fourth round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) was simply stunning, and the duel between Audi and Porsche kept all its promises.

In the end, victory was clinched by Porsche on its home turf with the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid driven by Mark Webber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley. It was the German manufacturer's second win in a row in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) after the 24 Hours of Le Mans last month. Porsche finished ahead of the two Audi R18s (#8 then #7).

As for the LM P2s, it was the third consecutive victory for Alpine with, as usual, the #36 driven by Nicolas Lapierre, Stéphane Richelmi and Gustavo Menezes.

In LM GTE Pro, Ferrari scored a one-two with its new 488 GTEs. It was the third win in a row for the Italian marque in as many six-hour races this season. And, British win in LM GTE Am for the #98 Aston Martin Vantage driven by Paul Dalla Lana, Mathias Lauda and Pedro Lamy.

If you were unable to watch this race or if you'd like to see the highlights one more time, don't hesitate!
