Vincent Capillaire to take the wheel of Algarve Pro Racing's Ligier LM P2 at Le Mans

Backed by the SO24! association, whose goal is to support drivers from the Le Mans area in rising to the highest level, Vincent Capillaire will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the fourth time this coming June thanks to a partnership between SO24! and Portuguese team Algarve Pro Racing.

The SO24! association will be twice represented at Le Mans as it has also signed an agreement with the Signatech-Alpine team with whom Vincent Capillaire raced in 2015. He achieved his best performance to-date at the 24 Hours of Le Mans at his first participation in 2014: a fourth place finish in the LM P2 class in the Oreca 03-Nissan entered by Sébastien Loeb Racing.

After a retirement in 2015 with the Alpine as a result of an incident for one of his teammates, Vincent Capillaire was back in 2016 with the young outfit SO24! by Lombard Racing, whose Ligier JS P2 crossed the finish line in 14th place in the LM P2 class.

Algarve Pro Racing debuted in LM P2 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year (12th in the class). The Portuguese team will return this year after having earned an automatic invitation thanks the LM P2 title it won in the 2016/2017 Asian Le Mans Series season.
