The jury, which selected 20 winners among hundreds of photos submitted, awarded the 1st prize to Fabrice Granddidier for his photo "Une victoire miraculeuse" ("A miraculous victory") taken of Romain Dumas on his knees with arms extended welcoming in pit lane the Porsche 919 Hybrid and his teammate Neel Jani after their win at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 2nd prize was given to "Soleil couchant à Mulsanne" ("Setting sun at Mulsanne") snapped by Balz Schreier, and 3rd prize went to "Passionnément Le Mans en famille" ("A family passionate about Le Mans") taken by Thibaut Colman, two photos taken during Test Day at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In addition to the 20 winners chosen by the jury, two special prizes were awarded: the Jury Prize, won for the photo "Gentleman driver" that Jean-Claude Lataste captured at the Le Mans Classic, and the Audience Award given for the pas de deux of SMP Racing's two BR01s during the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, snapped by Philippe Tsachiris.

Lastly, since this year an edition of the Le Mans Classic was held, three awards were devoted to the vintage car race which takes place in July every two years. The photo "A l'équilibre" ("Balanced") taken by Franck Pellerin and showing a driver of the 1959 Lotus XV on his toes in front of his car, took 1st prize.
