Sir Chris Hoy (Ligier) savors his first 24 Hours of Le Mans (video)

British driver Sir Chris Hoy made his dream come true a few days ago. Indeed, the six-time Olympic gold medalist in circuit cycling in London in 2012 participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and crossed the finish line.

Sir Chris Hoy is no longer unknown in motorsports now. After an LM P3 drivers champion title in the European Le Mans Series in 2015, the next step was to take the start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 18-19, 2016). With Portuguese team Algarve Pro Racing, he drove the #25 Ligier JS P2 Nissan along with Michael Munemann (U.K.) and Andrea Pizzitola (France). The three men finished in 12th place in the LM P2 class.
