Intense training for Jackie Chan DC Racing's (Oreca) six drivers before Le Mans

Four weeks before the 85th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, some competitors are hitting the asphalt while others prefer to work on concentrated team-building activities, like Jackie Chan DC Racing entering two Orecas in the LMP2 class.

In Dordogne in southwestern France, Ho-Pin Tung, Oliver Jarvis and Thomas Laurent, winners in LMP2 at the opening round of the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) at Silverstone with the #38 Oreca 07, and their teammates Alex Brundle, David Cheng and Tristan Gommendy in the #37 sister car, gathered for a week of preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, third race on the championship calendar.

On the program: sports, a lot of sports, both indoors (i.e. weightlifting) and out (i.e. biking and kayaking). Alex Brundle (the son of Martin, winner at Le Mans in 1990 with Jaguar) has even gotten a bit of a tan. The Chinese team is leaving nothing to chance in its quest to secure a class win at the 24 Hours. As much in endurance racing as anything else, team spirit is crucial.
