Fringe events – Marcel Mignot and a fantastic collection of Ferraris at R’Hunaudières

The third R’Hunaudières will be held on Tuesday 13 June. This year’s event will pay tribute to Ferrari, celebrating its 70th anniversary, and local drivers who have competed in the 24 Hours.

The square in front of Ruaudin town hall will be the venue for the third R’Hunaudières. Guest of honour this year will be Marcel Mignot, the local driver who took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans no fewer than ten times, notably at the wheel of the fabulous Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona.

Another distinguished guest is Yannick Dalmas, the only driver to have won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times with four different manufacturers. Julien Canal, the Le Mans-based driver who is racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Vaillante Rebellion this year, will also be at R’Hunaudières to meet the fans.

The event will be celebrating Ferrari’s 70th anniversary with an exhibition featuring at least twenty different models with the famous prancing horse badge. Some rare pieces will be on display, including a 1953 Ferrari Tipo, as well as more recent models. The Charles Pozzi Le Mans dealership will be attending the event.

Visitors to R’Hunaudières will also have the chance to take in an exhibition devoted to Fernand Tavano and other local Ferrari drivers at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Information: R'Hunaudières, Tuesday 13 June 2017, 15:00–23:00, Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, Ruaudin. Free admission. Refreshments available.
