Tristan Gommendy (Graff Racing's #39)
"It's good for the morale! Le Mans is one of the most important races in the world. The LMP2 class is highly competitive and very professional these days. The level of the drivers goes up every year. You can see it. This is my second pole position and my 10th participation. I am very happy with this result. Thinking about the entire team, we built something together. This pole is also the achievement of the engineers. The car is really great but you have to keep the mindset that qualifying is different exercise than the race, Then, you have to find the right set-up to have a very fast car. We're going to enjoy this moment and get back to work tomorrow morning."
