ROAD TO LE MANS

ROAD TO LE MANS

Road to Le Mans is the flagship race on the 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup calendar. Created in 2016, this championship is reserved for LMP3 and GT3 cars. It symbolizes the ACO's commitment to establishing benchmark events to aid in the learning process for drivers. This year, Road to Le Mans marks the third of six rounds in the 2024 season. Competitors will engage in two races, each lasting 55 minutes. The first is scheduled for Thursday, June 13, and the second on Saturday, June 15.

Lamborghini Super Trofeo

Lamborghini Super Trofeo

For the first time, a round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will take place as part of the support events for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This coincides with the Italian manufacturer's involvement in the Hypercar category, the premier class of the Le Mans classic and the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is one of the most competitive single-brand championships in the world: over the seasons, some of the best GT drivers, gentlemen drivers, and automotive champions have competed on iconic tracks such as Monza, Silverstone, Paul Ricard, and Spa-Francorchamps.

The Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 is the star of this support race. Its extreme design, futuristic aesthetics, and naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 with a maximum power of 620 HP will delight the spectators of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Ligier European Series

A round of the Ligier European Series is scheduled on Test Day. Launched in 2020, this one-make series is for Ligier JSP4s, a futuristic-looking prototype and Ligier JS2 Rs, a small GT purpose-built for racing.

Fun Cup

Fun Cup

Already present in 2021, the Fun Cup is back at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The famous Beetle will once again tackle the 13.626 km of the legendary Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans. For 2024, the goal is to gather 118 cars, making it the largest grid in Le Mans history. Drivers will compete in a 4-hour endurance race on Friday, June 14th.
