WEC - The launch of the 6 Hours of Silverstone at the foot of the Marble Arch in London

The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) honours tradition with the presentation of the 6 Hours of Silverstone at the heart of London. After the London Eye ferris wheel, the famous Tower Bridge and Kensington Place, the spotlight will be on the Marble Arch, the Arc of Triumph of the British capital!

Built at the beginning of the 19th century to serve as the entrance to Buckingham Palace's courtyard, the white marble arc of triumph was moved at the end of the century to its current site near Hyde Park. It hosted a police post until the end of the 60s, but in the 20th century this time!

In the 21st century, the Marble Arch will host several drivers and cars of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) on Thursday, April 2nd for a photo shoot, as the Royal Automobile Club conducts a press conference for the 6 Hours of Silverstone, which will take place Sunday, April 12th.
