WEC - Nicolas Lapierre (Toyota) to be absent at the 6 Hours of Fuji

In the lead of the Driver rankings with his teammates, Nicolas Lapierre will not be replaced in the No. 8 TS040 Hybrid, leaving Anthony Davidson and Sébastien Buemi to fight for the title at the end of the season. On the other hand, the French driver will still be a part of Toyota Racing next season, as confirmed by Yoshiaki Kinoshita, Team President: "Nicolas is taking a break due to his personal circumstances and the team will support him during this period. This was a decision we have taken together. Our driver line-up is close to completion for 2015 and beyond, and Nicolas remains a long-term member of our team."

The 6 Hours of Fuji (see article) will take place Sunday, October 12th starting at 11:00 a.m. (3:00 a.m. in the U.K.).
